Tsunami Relief

The Christian Relief Fund Annual Report is published once a year. This annual has been formatted so it is internet friendly and may look different form the one you may have received in the mail.

Saving children for 30 years . . .

Thirty years!

An impressive length of time . . .

. . .Yet what is truly impressive are the thousands of lives touched by loving, caring CRF donors. I am amazed by you who have given your hearts to children you'll probably never meet this side of eternity. I am amazed by your love and tenderness as you share with these children and families in your gifts and letters. I don't have the words to express the thanks you deserve.

You have heard the cries of the needy. You said, "Yes!" Read the pages of this report and praise God with us for all that He has accomplished through people like you -- people who are willing to lose themselves in His Will.
Much has been done but new opportunities arise every week to bless the lives of children in crisis. Please keep this ministry in your thoughts and prayers. Thirty years of history may have some importance or interest, but the real question is what will our answer be TODAY to those children crying for help? With your continued help we can say, "Yes." For God promises in Jeremiah 29:11, "I know the plans I have for you . . . plans to give you hope and a future."

With all my heart I thank you,
Linda Purdy
Executive Director

FROM CRF CHILDREN & FAMILIES

"We are happy to write our sponsors. Your last letter is in my hands now. I have read it several times and all the time (always) I have thought about your kindness. How wonderful and good persons you are! Inspite of thousands of your problems you have found the possibility to help us. You are great people! We are so far from you - in another part of the world, really, but you are the nearest and dearest of friends. We love you so much! God bless you!"

-Sasha & Natasha, Ukraine

"I want to tell you that I am happy and grateful to God and the people I love. You and your family are included in those people I love. My goal and dream is to finish school and then get a job so that I may help my parents. They have sacrificed so much for me. I want to help my 2 younger brothers so that they may continue going to school. My father is getting older and I know that he can't work forever. I wish that my father did not have to work as hard as he does. I know I can't help him now and all I can do is continue studying so that someday I can. I would also like to help others who are in need because there are so many in need in this world and I would like to help them in some way. These are some of my dreams and goals and I ask God to help me reach these goals and dreams some day. May God bless you."

-Priscila Galvez, El Salvador

"I am a mother raising two children on my own. I am happy coming each week to church. I can't tell you how important your material help is for me. God bless you."

-Dumitru Sabina, Romania

WHAT CRF DONORS SAY . . .

"I just want you to know how much I appreciate you and all the wonderful things you do to help other people. One of my dreams for life is to be able to live and work with people in countries who need a lot of help getting on their feet; but as I'm in college now, preparing for this, it is such a comfort to know that I can do something through you!"

-Jeniffer Anderson

"I was recently in El Salvador and spent several days with Alma and Miguel (CRF administrators). Wonderful people doing a fantastic job meeting the needs of hundreds of children. Thank you once again for making all this possible. My prayer is that God will continue to work through you to care for the poor."

- Brenda Morgan

"Our greatest joy is the ability from God to share! Our pictures of our CRF children sit in our office as a joyful reminder of God's work throughout the world!"

- Deveny & Bruce Coryell

"I am so impressed with the information packet you sent, I wanted to get this check in the right away. I have a meeting set with the deacon in our congreegation who oversees this type work. I pray for results that glorify our Lord. I personally will be sending more and want to set up an automatic draft on my checking account. After going over your financial statement it is obvious to me that all funds are used in one way or another to make this relief program work. Thank you for your most excellent assistance and response to my call."

-James H. Couch
