Building the Future
"
I know the plans I have for you . . . Plans to give you
hope and a future."
-Jer.
29:11
How
exciting it is to think that you and I can be a part of
God's plan to give poverty-stricken children in Third World
Countries a future! I want to express my warmest thanks
to each of you who has been a part of the work of Christian
Relief Fund this year. I want you to know that as we tell
a story of success and accomplishment in the life of any
one of our children, you have a part in that. Rejoice with
us as we tell about the year behind us and pray for and
expect great things from God in the future. This work belongs
to Him.
Thank you for your love, prayers, and generous gifts this
year. May God bless you with a wonderful year.

Building
the Future
For a CRF sponsored child . . . A letter from Arathi to
her sponsor:
My dear mummy,
I am happy to write to you again. I am fine here and hope
the same with you. I think this is the last letter I will
be writing to you from this home. Next time I will post
from my home. I thank all the CRF board, church members,
sponsors for their love and prayers for me down all these
years. I came to this home in March, 1983, and now it is
November, 2002, nearly 19 years I was under your care. I
have secured a job in an Animation Company as HR-Executive.
I am trying to get adjusted to this new environment. All
are animators, graphic artists, well-mannered. All are very
helpful and I am learning a lot of new things every day.
Nearly 435 employees are working there.Because of your prayers
and God's grace now I can support myself & also my mother
and sister. I think I can manage my living. God has given
me the courage to step into the world praising His works.
I am proud to be your daughter and I don't have words to
express my gratitude for all your love, care, prayers and
support. Without you I am nothing. I thank God once again.

What Others Say About CRF
"May God continue to bless the excellent work He has
entrusted to you. The letters that we receive cause great
joy in our hearts as we hear of the children doing so well
in school, going to university or skilled jobs and aiming
for very productive lives."
-Robert
Whitfield for Pinehill church of Christ
"It
is so good to have you CRF people who keep us informed and
help us in our giving where needs are so great. May God
bless each of you."
-Virdean
McReynolds
"When
we first arrived in Uganda we were overwhelmed by the numerous
orphans. Thankfully, CRF has gotten involved in Uganda.
Your gifts are making a large difference in the lives of
many children. Without your gifts many of these children
would face life without the hope of education. May God bless
you."

Our
Commitment to You
The Christian Relief Fund has been operating with an untarnished
record since 1971 because of the following commitments and
values:
- The
Christian Relief Fund staff, programs, and ethics are
Christian. The goal of each program is to glorify Christ,
demonstrating His love by operating with integrity as
we meet tangible needs and teach His written Word.
- To
be financially accountable for your precious sacrifices
and keep administrative costs as low as possible. Only
$3 out of $25 given for child sponsorship are used for
administrative expense. 88% goes to the child. Volunteers
and staff periodically travel to various sites to ensure
that programs are being administered properly and in the
best interests of the children. The Christian Relief Fund
is a member of ECFA, an organization which requires strict
financial accountability of its members. Financial statements
are always available to you upon
request.
- To
partner with the local church.
Programs are administered through members of local churches,
often volunteers, strengthening the church and fostering
relationships in the local
community. We take great care to entrust the children
in our programs to people of integrity, who have the children's
welfare foremost in their heart. Because local projects
are fairly small, workers know each child personally.
- To
help each child individually, one child with one sponsor.
Your sponsorship money provides food, clothing, medical
help, Bible teaching and education for your child, NOT
a community project. Each child has only one sponsor unless
a group agrees to sponsor a child. The sponsor/ child
relationship reinforces the message of the Gospel and
the love of the Father producing a positive and lasting
change in the life of the sponsored child. Many children
have received an education and are now self-supporting
as a result of sponsorship.
- To
make every effort to be up front and straightforward with
our donors. Mistakes are sometimes made on I.D. sheets,
etc. by personnel in the field or in the Amarillo office.
We do ask for grace and understanding for human shortcomings
while always striving to do our best to correct such situations,
to be honest with our donors, and to give the best care
possible for each sponsored child.
-
The Christian Relief Fund will never give or sell our
mailing list to others nor interrupt your privacy with
fundraising phone calls. We value our relationship with
you. Thank you so much for your concern for hurting children.
We hold your trust in the highest esteem and promise to
do everything humanly possible to earn it. God bless you
richly.
