CRF Projects of
2007 by Country:
Belarus
Child Sponsorship program provides food, clothing and Bible study
to 15 poor children. $2,000 sent for Bibles.
Dominican Republic
Child Sponsorship provides 18 children with full-time care, clothing,
school fees, and medical care in the CRF Home of Love and Hope in Neiba
and approximately 241 children with basic food and education as they
continue to live in their own homes. This includes free K-8 education
in the CRF Primary School in Neiba. Breakfast is provided daily for
the children. Child Sponsorship helps 88 children in the cities of
La Romana, Vicente Noble, Tamayo, Apolinar Perdomo and Naranjal. CRF
Family Feeding provides basic food to 99 destitute families, widows
and elderly people in Neiba, Jaquimeyes, Naranjal, Vicente Noble, and
Tamayo each month. CRF is helping 18 university students to continue
their education. CRF sent $1350 to purchase goats for poor families.
Ecuador
Child Sponsorship helps 35 children in the city of Cuenca.
El Salvador
Child Sponsorship helps 225 children and 6 university students in San
Salvador and several rural areas.
Ethiopia
Child Sponsorship helps 10 children in the Makanisa School for the Deaf
in Addis Ababa.
Guatemala
Child Sponsorship helps 100 children. Family Feeding provides food monthly
for 6 needy families. CRF purchased computers for computer-training
class .
Haiti
Child Sponsorship helps 25 children in Cap Haitian. Benjamin Children's
Home provides 37 sponsored children with food, clothing, and shelter.
CRF sent $21,600 to feed hundreds of children daily in Port au Prince;
and $9,000 for the Peltan Nutrition Center.
Honduras
CRF has been working in Honduras since 1984. Child Sponsorship helps
16 children in the CRF
Childrens' Home in Catacamas and 839 children
living with their families in Catacamas, Tegucigalpa, Choluteca, Nacaome,
Danli, Limon de la Cerca and Nueva Capital. To supplement public school
education, CRF provides trade classes such as handicrafts and electrical
wiring. Family Feeding program provides 93 needy families and widows
with basic food each month. Each
family receives 50 pounds of products such as rice, beans, powdered milk,
spaghetti, oil, and some canned meat. CRF sent $6,900 for lunch for over
200 children in Catacamas, Danli, and Tegulcigalpa every Sunday.
India
CRF has provided care for children in India since 1974. There are 11
CRF Childrens' Homes in India, providing full-time care for 296 children
up to and including job training for those who continue in the program.
In the CRF Good Samaritan Clinic in the village of Ravalpally Mrs.
Pushpa Wesley, RN, and an assistant nurse care for patients. Two days
each week two doctors attend the clinic. Another clinic is in Kosgi
Village near Tandur, serving a population of about 12,000 people in
23 small villages. CRF sent support for 18 widows and 9 preachers.
Jamaica
Child Sponsorship provides uniforms, school supplies, and food for 10
children.
Kenya
Child Sponsorship helps 36 children in Kimilili, 385 children in Kisumu,
and 55 children in 
Lakeside
orphanage. Kitale Childrens' Home gives full-time care to 35 children
and an additional 61 are sponsored in
their own homes in Kitale. NEW programs
help 32 children in Eldoret, 127 children in Mombassa and 154 children
in Malinda.
Liberia
CRF sent $400 for Bibles. 244 children are sponsored in Monrovia, 30
children are sponsored in Crozierville, and CRF is helping 27 university
students.
Lithuania
Child Sponsorship helps 18 children in single-parent and other families
struggling to meet basic needs in the cities of Klaipeda and Vilnius.
Malawi
CRF sent $11,851 for hunger relief and $4700 for Bible teacher's salary,
school repair and maintenance and vehicle fund for the Ntonda Primary
School.
Mexico
Child Sponsorship in Piedras Negras helps 121 children.
Nicaragua
Child Sponsorship helps 386 children in
7 preschools and afterschool programs and 138 children attending public
schools in Leon. In Managua, sponsored children include 211 in 3 preschools,
72 in public school and 2 university students. CRF sent $5,000 to repair
5 houses in Leon.
Niger - Hunger Relief
CRF sent $3,500 for famine relief.
Nigeria
Child Sponsorship helps 42 children who live in the Betem Christian Community
in the Cross River State in Nigeria. 103 children
are sponsored in the Children's Life Center in Nkwot Nko village.
Romania
CRF received $207,484 to provide food, powdered milk, medical supplies,
shoes, clothing, Bibles and Christmas boxes for children in five hospitals
(including the Children's Burn Unit which treats patients from all
of Romania), and five orphanages in and near Bucharest. Child Sponsorship
helps 69 children who live with their families in Bucharest to have
food, vitamins, and basic medical care
South Africa
Child Sponsorship helps 50 children. 
Sudan
CRF sent $17,800 for a water project and $3600 for hunger relief.
Tanzania
CRF sent $8,000 to Dale and Elnora Dennis to purchase Bibles for Bible
classes in public schools in Dar es Salaam.
Togo, Africa - NEW!
Child Sponsorship helps 6 AIDS orphans.
Uganda
106 children sponsored in Kampala and 52 children in AIDS Orphan Program
in Mbale. CRF sent $5,000 for hunger relief
Ukraine
Directed by Jay and Piera Young, sponsorship helps 150 children in Kiev
and Odessa. In Marupol, 9 teenagers from orphanages in the Transitional
Living Center directed by Andrew Kelly learn skills for independent
living.
United States
CRF Child Sponsorship helps 77 children in South Texas with school supplies,
shoes, clothing and food.
