Tumaini was orphaned at a young age. After her mother died, her father abandoned the family. Tumaini is one of seven children in her family. The children all live under the care of their grandmother, but she relies on odd jobs in the slums that are few and far between. The family of 20 lives in a one-room house made of mud and grass. There is no running water or electricity. Sponsorship will make a big difference in Tumaini's life.
