After Asenath's father died, their paternal relatives evicted them from their home and land. They lost everything. Since they were farmers, they even lost their only source of income. Asenath, her mother, and her two siblings went to live with their maternal grandmother in a one-room house in the village of Metkei. They struggle to make ends meet, and the children are very malnourished. Asenath needs support to meet her basic needs.
