Lavine was born into a cycle of poverty. Her mother dropped out of school due to being married young. Lavine's father also had to leave school early to find work. Recently Lavine's father took a second wife and has preferred his new wife to his first. He will leave for more than a month at a time and no longer provides for his children from his first wife. They have gone from having their needs met to struggle even to receive one meal a day. Sponsorship will be an answer to prayer for Lavine.

Your sponsorship will help this child grow up to be like Jesus by providing them with nutritious meals, clean water, new clothing, a quality education, opportunities to participate in extracurricular activities, basic medical care, and spiritual guidance from local Christian ministers, teachers and community leaders.
