Ngasike's mother abandoned the family. Ngasike is now being raised by her elderly father, who cannot find regular work. Ngasike is the oldest of three children. They live in a traditional manyatta hut made of woven grass that they move from place to place wherever there is clean water or grazing land for their goats. There is no running water or electricity. Sponsorship would be a big blessing to Ngasike.
